wǒ xiǎngyào tíngjī bǎohào.
我想要停机保号。

Customer Service:

I need your passport or ID card.
Wǒ xūyào nǐde hùzhào huòzhě shēnfènzhèng.
我需要你的护照或者身份证。

Yuki:

My passport was lost with my cellphone.
Wǒde hùzhào gēn wǒde shǒujī yīqǐ diū le.
我的护照跟我的手机一起丢了。

I don't have an ID card.
Wǒ méiyǒu shēnfènzhèng.
我没有身份证。
Note: in China, only Chinese citizens over sixteen years old have Chinese ID card.

But I have my student ID.
Dànshì wǒ yǒu wǒde xuéshēngzhèng.
但是我有我的学生证。

Look.
Nǐ kàn.
你看。

Customer Service:

Student ID - not okay.
Xuéshēngzhèng bùxíng.
学生证不行。

Need passport - can verify your identity.
Yào hùzhào, néng zhèngmíng nǐ de shēnfèn.
要护照，能证明你的身份。

Yuki:

Student ID should be OK.
Xuéshēngzhèng kěyǐ de.
学生证可以的。
Note: Literally... student ID ~ able to ~ de

Customer Service:

I'm sorry, not okay, ...
Bùhǎoyìsi, bùxíng, ...
不好意思，不行，……
Note: In this context, "bùhǎoyìsi" is used to convey "I'm sorry"; a more literal translation would be "I'm embarrassed".

just can be passport or ID card.
zhǐnéng shì hùzhào huòzhě shēnfènzhèng.
只能是护照或者身份证。

Yuki:

Nǐ zhēn sǐbǎn.
你真死板。

Customer Service:

I'm not rigid, this is the rule.
Wǒ bú shì sǐbǎn, zhè shì guīdìng.
我不是死板，这是规定。

Customer Service:

Wǒ yào quèdìng nǐ shì zhègè hàomǎ de shǐyòng zhě, ...

cáinéng bāng nǐ tíngjī bǎohào a.

You don't have an ID card, ...
Nǐ méiyǒu shēnfènzhèng, ...
你没有身份证，……

only a passport is - approved ID document.
zhǐyǒu hùzhào cáishì bèi rènkě de shēnfèn zhèngjiàn.
只有护照才是被认可的身份证件。

Yuki:

But my passport also lost.
Nà wǒ hùzhào yě diū le.
那我护照也丢了。

Customer Service:

Then you have to go - local police station - apply for a temporary residence permit.
Nà nǐ yào qù pàichūsuǒ bàn gè zànzhùzhèng.
那你要去派出所办个暂住证。
